About Amity Woodworking

In 1980, Steven Eckelkamp founded Amity Woodworking, a custom woodworking shop in Worcester, Ma, specializing in furniture, cabinets, vanities, and countertops for homes and businesses.

While most of Amity's products are custom made at the new facility in North Brookfield (built in 2006), Amity also sells major lines of cabinets from vendors like Hagerstown, Young's Furniture, Bertch Marketplace Cabinetry, and JSI. These vendors offer Amity's clientele a range in quality and price.

All vendor cabinets are also custom built for your home! From major apartment complexes to multi-million dollar homes in some of Worcester County's most affluent areas. Amity Woodworking's customers are everywhere.

In addition, Amity has also done work for well-known local businesses such as Pleasant Valley Country Club, Boston Billiards, The Worcester Art Museum, The Worcester YMCA, Fleet Electric, and more.

20/20 Kitchen Design

Amity Woodworking uses the industries best kitchen design software, 20/20. This allows for the creation of customized, electronic, and editable kitchen layouts in the comfort of the customer's home. Teaching others his trade, Steve is a volunteer internship sponsor for young and aspiring woodworker's in the region. In 2003, he was awarded 'Sponsor of the Year' by New England's Dynamy Program.
